Omniretail, an Ipsos study published in June 2013, shows the evolution of French purchasing habits between 2012 and 2013. The trends that emerge are that so-called physical stores are still frequented by the French despite the multitude of purchasing channels. The survey also notes that online shopping is still on the rise. Data also gives rise to a new tool: the digital tablet. Symbol of multi-tasking (doing several things simultaneously, Editor's note), it is increasingly used as a second screen with television to comment on programs or buy products that consumers see on television.
